[skill]Eviscerate[/skill][skill]Executioner's strike[/skill][skill]Bull's Strike[/skill][skill]rush[/skill]
Use for fighting with an axe and fill in the rest of the skills with an IAS such as (would say frenzy) flurry if he is new and with a res and a couple of extra skills like shock or something.

Hammer is king with just Prophecies skills, you can devastate your enemies, break their backs or even shake the damn earth with Prophecies Hammer elites.
Axe comes second and Sword is a distant 10th

the standard shock axe is still prophecies-only, and it still is the most wide-spread and most effective warrior build.

With those skills, though, definitely need [skill]"For Great Justice!"[/skill] in there.

Yes, any attack chain that uses adrenaline should have [skill=text]"For Great Justice!"[/skill] on the bar.

If you've ever played shock axe, you should know you don't need FGJ, it might be nice to have as a variant but definitely not a necessity.

Just looked at Shock Axe. Where does it get enough adrenaline from? Two 8's, a 6 (Disrupting Chop) and a 4 take up a lot of adrenaline. And your main Energy attack Exhausts you, which doesn't seem like a good thing when you're a Warrior, especially when it does almost no damage (yeah, knockdown interrupts, but still...).

The idea behind the use of Shock is simple to keep a kiting foe from getting away from you, it is not there for causing dmg.
Not certain exactly which build you looked at, but [skill]"For Great Justice!"[/skill] will effectively cut the cost of all your adren skills by 50%. Combined with an IAS and you can unleash [skill]Eviscerate[/skill] after 4 seconds of attacking. While you can run the build without FGJ its far better to use it.
You can also change the build up quite a bit if your in PvE(replace shock with Conjure Lightning for example), in PvP there is some room to change, but not much with only Prophicies skills to call upon.

He didn't suggest it.
Bowstring Badass did, and regardless -- that skillbar is quite strong in PvE.

If you don't like all this foolishness about shock axes OP, might wanna try this build out...
[skill]Frenzy[/skill][skill]"For Great Justice!"[/skill][skill]Earth shaker[/skill][skill]Crude Swing[/skill][skill]Belly Smash[/skill][skill]Crushing Blow[/skill][skill]Rush[/skill][skill]Resurrection Signet[/skill]
IF you don't think you can handle having frenzy and a cancel stance (rush), [skill]Flurry[/skill] and [skill]Berserker Stance[/skill]are both decent alternatives.
Optional skills to stick in would include[skill]Counter Blow[/skill][skill]Mighty Blow[/skill][skill]Irresistible Blow[/skill]

Kel, Flurry and Berserker Stance are pitiful -- I would, truly use no IAS over them.

It bides it's time. It builds adrenaline, pumping out significant DPS with Frenzy alone, waiting till an opportunity comes to spike with Evis -> Exe. And generally, that adrenaline comes fast - wailing on a guy for 7-8 seconds is enough.
A shockaxe doesn't care about building adrenaline fast - it spikes, and opportunities to get a decent spike in aren't often enough for the high adrenaline costs of Evis/Exe to matter.
As for Shock, it has so many damn uses... dude, press 'B', watch a GvG and pay attention to a W/E for the match. Shock is so damn powerful it's unreal.

Flurry is usable but requires a zealous weapon.
As far as Shock Axe goes, it's also effective in PvE but with skill changes - you aren't going to use Bull's Strike a whole lot. I'd consider FGJ then, what with the pace of PvE and the lack of alternatives.

Other than the fact you will only have it up half the time and it ends when using a skill? BStance is bad. I'd probably use Flurry instead.

Why does everyone hate [skill=text]Tiger Stance[/skill]? IF you didn't like Frenzy or Flurry, wouldn't it be the next best option?
